The 4D Design Process
1. Diagnose and Assess
Stakeholder interviews, user research, business goal alignment, learner needs assessment, content and technical audit. For eLearning: identify learning gaps, audience needs, and existing content.
2. Design and Collaborate
User personas, journey mapping, wireframing, instructional strategy design, information architecture, storyboarding, and interaction mapping.
3. Develop and Review
Course development in Storyline, Rise, or iSpring. Interactive element creation, SCORM/xAPI integration, responsive design implementation, and assessment design.
4. Deliver and Launch
Quality assurance and testing, course publishing and LMS deployment, user training, launch support, and post-launch analytics setup.
