Questions We Get Every Week.

If you're evaluating eLearning design partners, these are the things you should know before you decide.

General Tools & Formats Process & Timeline AI Tools Pricing & Payment WyzLab Ecosystem

General

What exactly is WyzLab eLearning Design Solutions?

+

We are the eLearning design and development arm of the WyzLab Solutions ecosystem. We build professional courses, interactive modules, and AI-powered tools for coaches, consultants, teachers, training organizations, and corporate L&D teams, done-for-you, from instructional design through to final delivery.

How is this different from hiring a freelance instructional designer?

+

Three things set us apart: our methodology, our process, and our people. We apply a documented instructional design methodology to every project, which means your course is built to a defined standard — not just to a loose brief. We have a clear, milestone-based process with defined deliverables at every stage. And you work directly with the senior designer throughout the project, not an account manager.

Do you work with clients on any platform or LMS?

+

No. We deliver SCORM packages compatible with any LMS, Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, Cornerstone, TalentLMS, SAP SuccessFactors, and others. You don't need to be a member of any specific platform to work with us. We are an independent design studio that delivers SCORM packages to any LMS.

Authoring Tools & Formats

Which authoring tool is right for my project?

+

The right answer depends on your training goal, your LMS, and your learner context. Rise 360 is usually the fastest path to a clean, mobile-ready course. Storyline is the better choice for complex interactions, simulations, and branching scenarios. iSpring works best when you already have content in PowerPoint and don't need highly custom interactions. Do you deliver SCORM-compliant files?

+

Yes, all projects include SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 output by default. xAPI/Tin Can is available on request. Every SCORM package is tested in a sandbox LMS before delivery. You receive a signed QA checklist confirming all standards have been met.

Can I edit the course myself after delivery?

+

Yes. We deliver source files, .story files for Storyline, the Rise project link for Rise, and iSpring source files for iSpring, so you can edit content independently. We also offer optional VA support if you prefer not to manage updates yourself.

Do I need to own a license for Articulate 360 or iSpring?

+

No. We produce your course using our existing licensed authoring tools. You receive the published SCORM output and the source file. If you want to edit source files independently, you will need to own the corresponding authoring tool license.

Process & Timeline

How long does a project take?

+

Typical timelines by project type:

  • ·Course Blueprint only: 5 to 7 business days
  • ·Rise course: 3 to 4 weeks from first draft through QA, revisions, to final approval
  • ·Storyline course: 4 to 6 weeks from first draft to final approval
  • ·iSpring conversion: 2 to 3 weeks for standard projects
  • ·AI Tools setup: 5 to 10 business days

Timelines depend on source content quality, review turnaround, and complexity. Projects with organized source content and prompt approvals move faster.

How many revisions are included?

+

Two full revision rounds per deliverable are included in every package. Additional revisions are billed at $45 USD/hour. Minimum project engagement is $2,500 USD. Most projects complete within the two included rounds when the course blueprint is approved before development begins.

Do I need to provide all the content, or do you help create it?

+

Both options are available. We work best when you provide raw content, recordings, notes, slides, outlines, and we design and structure it. If you need content creation support (scripting, research, writing), that's available as an add-on service. We also offer AI-assisted content creation workflows to accelerate this process when source content is limited.

AI Tools

Which AI tools do you set up?

+

We work with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google Studio, Descript, Vyond, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate 360, and iSpring Suite, among others. Recommendations depend on your use case, content type, and budget. Every setup is scoped to your workflow, not to what's currently trending.

Is AI-assisted content noticeable to learners?

+

It can be, if it's not reviewed and refined properly. We run all AI-assisted content through our instructional QA process before it goes into any module. AI tools handle the generation. The WyzLab Methodology handles the structure, tone, and instructional integrity. Your learners receive content that's both fast to produce and genuinely worth completing.

Can I manage the AI tools independently after setup?

+

Yes, that's the goal of every tools project. We include workflow training and a custom prompt library so you and your team can create, update, and maintain content without depending on us for every change. Self-sufficiency is the intended outcome of every AI tools engagement.

Pricing & Payment

How are projects priced?

+

Projects are priced based on scope, including number of modules, interactivity complexity, source content quality, delivery timeline, tools involved, and whether the project is a standalone engagement or a longer-term retainer. The Packages page shows coach pricing and service benchmarks. We provide a detailed quote after the free consultation.

What payment methods do you accept?

+

We accept international wire transfer, US bank transfer, and debit card/credit card via Paypal. Payment terms for project-based work are 50% upfront, 30% upon first draft delivery, and 20% upon final approved version. Retainers are billed monthly in advance.

Do you offer discounts for volume or returning clients?

+

Yes. Qualified bulk requests may receive a 5 to 10 percent discount depending on total scope and complexity. Qualified returning clients may access preferred rates on larger scope requests.

Working With Other Platforms

I am using a third-party platform (Kajabi, Teachable, Thinkific, etc.). Can you still build for me?

+

Yes. We deliver SCORM packages that work on any LMS or platform. We have supported clients on Kajabi, Teachable, Thinkific, Moodle, Canvas, and custom-built LMS environments. If your platform accepts an SCORM upload or HTML5 embed, we can deliver for it.

Can I use WyzLab eLearning Design Solutions as a standalone service without joining any WyzLab platform?

+

Absolutely. We deliver SCORM packages to any LMS. There is no platform requirement to work with us. We are a design-and-development studio — the platform you choose is entirely up to you.

What is the WyzLab Methodology?

+

The WyzLab Methodology is our proprietary approach to learning experience design. It combines instructional science, engagement strategy, and structured content architecture to produce courses that learners finish, skills that stick, and outcomes you can measure. Every WyzLab eLearning project, regardless of authoring tool or client type, is built on this methodology.
